Germany changed the prostitution laws a decade ago. The liberalization was forced by EU law. Following the biography of Bert Wollersheim, owner of three brothel houses in Duesseldorf, the film shows the normal life and extreme moments of him and the ladies working with him.
It is a parallel world with own rules and experiences. The discussion in Europe now is rising again because eastern countries becoming full new members of the EU. The legal and social solution is not clear. But the market is huge. Approx. 14 Billion Euros only in Germany.
